MCIE’s 2016 Summit Sponsorship Information

Last year, we had generous supporters of the 2015 Manufacturers’ Summit. Your sponsorship allowed us to provide an informative event for manufacturers and their supporters and helped to support a year of activities.

We are well on our way to planning another outstanding event and we want you to have the first opportunity to support us again. Please visit www.mfgcouncilie.com/sponsors.

Your support of the MCIE Summit allowed the organization to incorporate and become a key reason why the application for the TAACCCT grant in the amount of $15 million was recently awarded to our region. The grant has enabled the development of the InTech Center, a technical jobs learning center scheduled to open in the spring of 2016. The InTech Center will provide no-cost training, necessary for modern industry, in advanced manufacturing, logistics, machinery, industrial maintenance, information technology – health, cyber security, and robotics.

Previous summits, and the associated PR afforded throughout the year, have focused on regional, state and national recognition of the Inland Empire as a successful location for manufacturing and other businesses. This PR promotes more affordable relocations, a trained and trainable workforce, and a logistically important region. This 5th Annual Summit is the largest Southern California event dedicated to manufacturing, worthy of the attention it will receive.

Last year we had 598 attendees at the Summit. This year, we expect 650-700 because the Summit has become well known throughout the state as a premiere manufacturing event. Surveys again showed us that the audience thought we were presenting relevant and important topics with great take-aways, and that the Summit was well worth attending.

At the 2016 5th Annual Summit, we will have a larger exhibit area situated between the General Session area (with keynote speakers and lunch), and the Breakout Sessions area. This provides you with more exposure. In addition, the exhibit area will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. except for our event opening where we will all gather to honor our Veterans (about 30 minutes); more time means more exposure.

Despite increased prices at events throughout Southern California, we are keeping our sponsorship pricing the same. Last year we sold out of booths early and this year we will again be limited by the available space we have at the Ontario Convention Center. Sign up early.

Please let me know, as soon as possible, if you will be joining us again at the 5th Annual 2016 Manufacturers’ Summit. Visit https://mfgcouncilie.com/sponsor/ for more details and the application form.

Your support has had a direct, positive impact on the jobs and economy or our region. Thank you!

Best regards,

Molly
