Additive Technology on the Manufacturing Floor Today, and Future Projections

We will review the seven Additive Technologies and how they are changing manufacturing industries, with a focus on aerospace and automotive. For example, Airbus has started using 3D printing to manufacture over 1,000 different parts for its A350 and this trend is expected to keep growing. This session will also discuss how Additive Manufacturing fits into Smart Manufacturing and Direct Digital Manufacturing, to be a part of the 4th industrial revolution.
