Training

chaffeysite4One of the greatest strengths of the MCIE is the cooperative efforts we have established with providers to deliver crucial training for our organizations. Most of the training is provided at no cost to MCIE members through state, federal and private grants. From the organizations below, we have received management training, craft training, quality/lean manufacturing training, computer training and a wide variety of other employee development programs. The quality of instruction has been excellent, and the results profound on our businesses. While the providers are able to deliver on-site training, many of the courses pull together employees from over 100 employers in the Inland Empire to maintain appropriate class sizes to facilitate the learning process as well as exposing employees to differing perspectives to help us solve our challenging operational problems.

If you have 5 or 500 employees, I would encourage you to contact them if you have a problem in your organization that training and development could help provide the solution. I think you will find them a valuable resource…a gold mine. – Rod Hoover, Manager – Human Resources, California Steel Industries, Inc.
